8 Ground to Overhead (95/65)

10 Bar Facing Burpees

15 Min Time Cap

The workout is going to be very taxing on the lungs and grip if you choose to hold onto the barbell for your 8 reps. One strategy is to bring your hands a little closer on your grip to save the shoulders. You can do either a snatch or a clean and jerk. Practice both in your warm up and see what will be better for you during the workout. If this is your first open enjoy the experience and try your best. If you have done the open before you know the different feelings of it, our goal for you is to have fun, work hard, and be a little more fit than you were last year.
