And you all thought we were crazy when we programmed wall walks in a WOD…..
This one is pretty cut and dry but here are a few tips:
The reps of wall walks start to pile up fairly quickly. The temptation is to do the 3 reps unbroken, but perhaps a quick little recovery break between reps might make some sense. If you struggle with high rep double unders, consider breaking them up at the 60 rep mark. The key with the double unders is to stay relaxed through your upper body as its going to take a pounding with the wall walks. This one isn’t as much about cardio as it is about pure muscle fatigue. Slowing things down on the front end of this one may seem unnecessary, but again, consider the volume here.
