ANNOUNCMENT:  MURPH…..MONDAY, MAY 31ST.  WE WILL HAVE 2 HEATS.  8:30 AND 9:30.

THERE WILL BE NO PREREGISTRATION NECESSARY.  WE SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH RIG SPACE (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE) TO ACCOMMODATE.   WHILE WE WANT EVERYONE TO TRY  FOR THAT PR, IT’S IMPORTANT TO JUST REFLECT ON WHY WE DO THIS WOD.  SO IF YOU HAVE TO SHARE A LITTLE SPACE ON THE RIG, ITS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY.

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE EVERYONE AT THE GYM FOR THIS.  LET’S MAKE THIS OUR BIGGEST MURPH YET!!!  WE WILL HAVE MODIFICATIONS FOR ALL ABILITY LEVELS REGARDLESS OF WHAT THAT MAY BE.

PLAN TO BE TO THE GYM ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR HEAT SO WE CAN GET A GROUP WARM UP IN.

20 Barbell Curls (45/35)

100 Foot Plate Farmers Carry

15 Back Squat (95/65)(135/85)

Todays WOD is a great test of functional fitness.   You will start with an empty barbell and complete 20 curls.  Once your curls are complete, you will pick up the TWO plates that you will use to load the barbell for your back squat weight.  You will farmers carry these plates 100 meters and return to your barbell where you will load it with the plates.  After completing your 15 back squats, you will strip your bar to begin your next round.

DO NOT LET THE EMPTY BARBELL DROP ON THE FLOOR WHEN REMOVING WEIGHTS.
