For today’s WOD, everyone will be doing strict pull ups.  We can use whatever band is appropriate for allowing a full range of motion strict pull up.  Look as this in a similar way as the strategy we talk about with push ups which is break when you WANT to not when you HAVE to.  So, find that manageable number and do your best to just keep moving.   Training the strict pull up will benefit everyone regardless of where you are with your pull up progression.   Building the strict strength will transfer to all of the gymnastics pulling movements we do and will also help build the musculature you need to do kipping and butterfly movements.
