ATTENTION ALL: Please make plans to be at the WOD this Wednesday. Our WOD will be a tribute WOD in honor of 2019 CrossFit Games athlete Jacob Morris. Jacob competed in the 2019 Games a few months ago in the teen 16-17 year old division. Jacob finished 7th at the Games despite having a heart condition that would require surgery shortly after the Games concluded. A few days ago, Jacob passed away from complications from his surgery. Although we did not know Jacob personally, we feel like he is a part of our growing fraternity of amazing young men and young women that pass through the doors of CrossFit Affiliates all around the world. We know how special our young athletes are at here at CrossFit970, so we can only imagine the hole that Jacobs passing has left at his gym community at CrossFit Waterside in Orlando, FL. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
